He played high school football for the Peoria, Ironwood Eagles. For the last two seasons of 2015 and 2016 he has be the kicker and punter for the Scottsdale Crusaders in the Arizona Football League.
Parker Brubaker will be the second Crusader (WR Christian Husband 2014 was first) in the last three years to join the football program for Arizona Christian University. They are the Firestorm, an NAIA school and one of four Arizona Universities playing football.
They are also the defending Champions of the CSFL, Central States Football League. In fact they are the 2015 and 2016 champs. Donnie Yantis as Head Coach in 2015 led them to the title. In 2016 Jeff Bowen took over as Head Coach and ACU won it again.
ACU Football played it's first season in 2014 so the two titles in their first three seasons in an amazing achievement.
Which is why Parker Brubaker is such a good fit at the University. He is a player that has continued to work hard to keep his skills sharp. Instead of sitting around he joined the AzFL and kept playing football.
He bought his own equipment, attended practices. Went on all the road games around the state. He handled both punting and field goals plus extra points. If needed he could step in as a receiver.
It is tough enough for a high school football player to get onto a college team. Less than three per cent of all graduating seniors will play at the college level.
For Parker his chances should have decreased each year beyond his graduation. On signing day 2017 he proved that hard work pays off. This Fall he will be on a Championship College Football Team.
He is an awesome young man, the ideal team player. He has the support of his family and friends. Everyone on the Scottsdale Crusaders and from the AzFL will be rooting for him.

The champs from 2016 are back. The Tucson Demons won it all last seaon. Will they be ready for the challenge from the team they beat the Tempe Predators? Then you have their rivals from Scottsdale, the Crusaders waiting for their shot at a championship.
